Devil Worlds: Land of the Wilds solution found
Maps After triing many things I've finally found the solution how to get Chumara to properly rebuild the base. The script still don't handle most of the things properly but it can give you a last challenge as after landbridging you possibly kill 'em all, unless you don't have any troops remaining. The fix will be included in the next patch that will fix Lightning Eel where the story text of Land of the Wilds is dropped by misstake. It was already removed but I forgot to compile the script. Also the first Launcher update is being prepared that fixes a survey bug, enables map preview feature and unlocks Strong mode that will be added as a mappack update soon. If you think that the first block is too easy then think again... Can you do it with fewer spells, troops, mana and wood, with your spell and firewarriors range reduced? Watch for the updates and remember to send feedbacks about strong mode.

Devil Worlds: Devil Worlds update 1
Maps It's about 13 hours since the Devil Worlds BETA is open and I saw alot of feedbacks arrived. Most of them included that some of the maps is very easy to rush. One of them (Legend of Kikikini) is easy because the attacking algorithm is bugged but I'm rewriting it right now with a completely new timing system bypassing the hard to time EVERY loops that only supports the power of 2. I'll introduce that to all maps but Lightning Eel where it works absoultely perfect for some reason. The map people find the most easiest is Power of Faith, and they are right. It just lets you even if you are a slow player to build up a huge army before let Chumara do anything. This will be changed with Update 1 that I'm working on right now. The time before the attack and the attack strength will be based on the size of your army so if you build up before worshipping the obelisk you will have to face an almost instant huge Chumara force. The most serious but is on Land of the Wilds where chumara is unable to rebuild (see the Known Bugs list on the survey window). If any mapdesigner around knows a solution for this please tell us in the Comments field. Thank You!
I suggest everyone who have a broadband connection to enable the automatic update check so the launcher will notify you when this and future updates are released. Aim to have the latest versions because many bugs will be eliminated in the future.
Edit: The update is released, please click the Updates button in the launcher. It's focused to fix the attacking bugs, the next update will be focused to the easy rushes. Also this patch fixes the invisible damaged ground bug on Power of Faith and Land of the Wilds. The full changelog and known bugs list can be viewed on the survey screen after exiting the game.

Devil Worlds: The moment is here! Devil Worlds BETA Open!
Maps After 3 preview videos, now you can finally try Block 1: Classic Worlds yourself. Get ready for the surprises waiting for you while you adventure through the first 8 planets of The Solar System of Devil Worlds... And this is just the beginning! Many new surprises including new gameplay styles will be included in the future blocks. But let's not wait any longer! Click here to download the Classic Worlds BETA! Extract the archive to your Populous directory and start spmgr.exe to start the game (don't touch the archive located inside the SPpacks folder, the launcher will do it for you). This will start our launcher that will install and launch Devil Worlds. It doesn't overwrite anything so you can still play the original game. Also this launcher will manage the updates. There will be many of them in the beta stage so I suggest you to enable the automatic update check feature. As you will see, it's still in very early stage but we are planned to make this launcher a complete mappack manager where others can add their mappacks, enable multiple difficulty settings, multiplayer support, skirmish mode and many other cool features. Another feature you will notice after playing is a survey. It will ask questions about each map you checked that you've played and you can leave feedback. Please use this feature as we reserve the right to stop the development if too few feedbacks arrives. Also use this feature to report bugs you may encounter, as it's still a beta test, many bugs can occur.

Devil Worlds: The infulence of the SP maps
Maps As you know, some of the single player maps are inspired by the multiplayer maps. Because I don't have much work on the block 0-1 while they are on beta test, I decided to redesign some of the multiplayer maps of DW1: Classic Worlds. Most of those maps are realy old and ugly. Since 2004 we learned the way of the high quality mod and map making. Thats why I want to remake them. Please, send me feedback about the maps like: which one is your favourite, which one you hate most, which kind of maps you like better (isles, one continent or dead sea like waterless...).

Devil Worlds: New map revealed
Maps We have revealed the first map of Block 1: Classic Worlds. Block 0 is now almost completed and requires only little corrections. We will release the Devil Worlds Player with Block 0, Block 1 and Devil Worlds 1-4 Multiplayer. The terrains of Classic Worlds is nearly complete so you can expect a Block 1 video soon.
